Nick Govardman joins Crosby
Nick Govardman recently joined Crosby Construction as a project manager and has overseen the last stages of Crosby’s renovation project at Irwin Elementary School within Fort Wayne Community Schools.
Nick is a 2015 graduate of Indiana University–Purdue University Indianapolis, earning a Purdue bachelor’s degree in construction engineering management technology. In addition, he gained valuable experience during two summer internships with construction companies in Fort Wayne and Indianapolis.
“I’m excited to be here and thankful for the opportunity to work for a great company like Crosby Construction,” Nick says. “I did jump right in as the onsite project manager for the Irwin Elementary renovation, but Russel Jacobs, our senior project manager, has been a great mentor.”
Nick also put his construction expertise to use when he served as his own general contractor to build the house he and his wife, Emily, designed. He also did much of the construction himself during the building of their new home on the north side of Fort Wayne.
When he’s not tackling larger projects, Nick enjoys woodworking.
