Crosby Construction Meets Critical Deadline for Indiana DNR Fish Hatchery
On April 7, 2016, The DNR proceeded with their scheduled fish production thanks to the continuous efforts of Crosby Construction. Each year the fish hatchery produces a slew of walleye, northern pike, and channel catfish. These fish are then stocked into area lakes in the spring.
This past winter, Crosby Construction was contracted to build a series of structures, place underground piping, and install new equipment to enhance the fish hatchery’s production. The largest of these improvements was a new well house and subsequent water supply well and piping (pictured) which now provides essential water necessary for the operation of some of the hatchery’s numerous ponds.
