| Owner | Turnstone Center for Disabled Children & Adults | As
the utilization of Turnstone's services began to
grow, so did the need for a larger facility. In the
spring of 2000, Turnstone felt their existing facilities
were at capacity, yet the desire of their services
was still growing. To accommodate the needs of their
employees and clients Turnstone elected to expand
their training capabilities and renovate existing
offices. The new addition, extending east of the existing facility, provided an additional 8,250 square feet to their building. The new addition included new offices, training rooms and restrooms. The most important attribute to the addition is the indoor heated therapy pool, as pictured above. The second phase of this project included the renovation of over 16,250 square feet within the existing facility. The scope of work included new interior walls, flooring, acoustical ceilings and minor touchups to the entire facility. |
